PRIMARY PROGRAMS

The primary programs (for 7 years +) are currently being written and trialled with children and teaching staff in schools in NSW and the NT. The programs are being written to support and enhance State, Territory and National Curriculums. NAPCAN will provide fee for service training to schools and communities following the completion of these trials.
  • ALL CHILDREN BEING SAFE - 5-7 YRS

The All Children Being Safe (ACBS) Protective Behaviours program has been developed to provide preschool children (ages 4 to 5 years) and early primary school children (ages 5 to 7 years) with non-threatening ways to help them feel strong and stay safe in their communities. The program explores safety messages with children using bush animal stories, small group discussions, craft activities, music and movement, drama and puppets. The program teaches children to identify safe and unsafe feelings, people, places, and encourages them to talk with trusted support people.
